Menstrual Hygiene Management in Urban Slums: Challenges and Perspective
In this study, we examined the key concerns surrounding menstruation and hygiene faced by women, particularly in the urban context. While lack of awareness along with the inability to access required resources are imminent roadblocks, we detail nuanced and interlinked conditions that need to be addressed for the improvement of menstrual health and hygiene and impact the interests of the entire community. We suggest a holistic approach to address these issues, calling forth interactive cooperation from government and society.

Sexual and Reproductive Health in Crisis Situations: – India’s Case Study
Natural disasters such as floods severely impact local communities’ lives and necessitate measures to be undertaken for both preparedness and relief. In this study, we utilize available research and data to examine the causes and impact of floods in Assam and Odisha, with a special focus on women’s sexual and reproductive health. We recognize the new challenges presented and the pre-existing issues that are amplified in these situations. We also present measures taken by the government and issue further recommendations to ensure quality access to care and resources.
